Damn silly buggars, increased the amount of seats the had! As did the Lib Dem's though (yay!) so not all bad.
Right wing, politics should be banned. A load of old nonsense from the wealthy who want to keep what they have for themselves and no-one else. I can't beleive that that slur campaign that Howard lead actually got them more votes in places *sigh* some people are just paranoid idiots it would appear.

On a lighter note... coursework finished!! And have my presentation this afternoon for criminology - I WILL GET RID OF DAVID BECKHAM IF IT KILLS ME!!!! My friend Jen thinks its a great idea, seeing as we're doing whether the media has a detrimental effect on the CJS, that we use an example of how the media has manipulated one person to be good, then bad, then good again - the only example she could think of was bloody 'golden balls'... oh well, she'll have to say that bit while the rest of us stand around and cringe lol.
Phil's coming down today as well - feels like I havn't not seen him in a way seeing as we only saw each other on tuesday. Hve no idea what we can do... if its sunny I said we could go to the beach, but he gets bored easily of that *rollseyes* lol.

Procrastination - thats what this is!
Ok, hi, how was your weekend? Mine was FABULOUS! Phil had planned loads of things for our anniversary, and it was so great, I didn't wanna leave this morning even more than usual... we went shopping, sat in the park (and phil got sniffed by a big fluffy dog), then we went out for a meal - never done that before, was a little bit odd, I think we're more off a burger king couple lol. Then we went round my folks for Sunday lunch then watched Hitch Hikers Guide... it was ok, my legs hurt because the seats at the Woking Ambassaors cinemas are CRAP! Phil liked it though, then we had a walk, and a picnic yesterday, then we watched Napolean Dynamite - quite a good film.
It was such a fantastic weekend, I can't beleive it's over :(
And now its back to the grind - doing my last bit of course work for this semester - done 386 words since 6pm (now 10:33pm lol) - that is including spending 2 hours washing/cooking/eating/watching tv/washing up... hmm, I'm still being lazy. It's due in on monday next week, I am sooooo screwed lol.
My exam timetable has been published as well *yay* (whatever).
- 24th May - Developmental (50 mutliple choice, 2 essay Qs)
- 1st June - Advanced Cognitive Functions (multiple choice with jutifications, 1 essay)
- 3rd June - Issues in Criminal Justice (1 essay Q).
So, I needn't have pushed my school placement back a week *grrr*, oh well, c'est la vie.
Gotta think of a job for the summer - maybe in a clothes shop so I can buy more ( I gave loads away to the humana box the other day) or in a office job - but my dad wants me to work at least 1 day a week, so i can't really get a 5 day job elsewhere (cos yeah, sorry for wanting some time off over the summer, geez *rolls eyes*.
Anyhoo, gotta do this work I suppose - and figure out how to do a chi squared on my data ( I want/need a really good mark on this piece).
See ya.

Not sure what he has to do with the lot, but check out this cute little fella - isn't he gorgeous! Phil and I are awaiting a response to our question of "is the racoon included with the servo's?
I'm still madly procrastinating and not doing much work - although, having said that I spent and extra 3 hours in uni today when I could have gone home, AND I went to the library at 7pm!! Still didn't get the books I needed - don't you really hate it when they have a core text and only 3 copies (or worse) in stock - there was one book I could have read, it had 3 copies on shelf somewhere, but I couldn't find them for love nor money grrr....
Having my hair cut tomorrow *yay* , want to look my best for my trip back home this weeked, and phil said he'll be taking me out for dinner for our anniversay *eek* we've never gone out for a meal before... I'll let you know how it goes!

I keep getting emails telling me I can claim a free ipod, I've never looked into it, but seeing as I keep getting bombarded I thought I'd see how 'free' this thing will be.
I followed one of my junk mail links and was offered a new, free ipod shuffle (rrp.around £60/70)- you have to sign up to laods of crap though, and then refer 4 friends. It wasn't even silly little stuff, it was things like switching your gas and electricity suppliers, or signing up for new contract phones!! Have a look for yourself ... I wonder if anyone actually uses these things? As in actually receiving it - it's not very 'free' either, seeing as you have to pay to sign up to some things.
Makes me giggle really, some people will do anything for 'free' stuff lol...

My gorgeous other half is off taking his driving theory test today, so I wish him lots of luck...
I know I havn't made an entry for quite some time - been busy doing, well, stuff. Not a lot of exciting stuff... had to recoup all the stuff kelly took when she moved out, such as a new shower curtain and bathroom stuf as well as TV - what a saga that was, we bought one from asda, but it didn't work, we went and bought batteries for the remote, still nothing, took it back but had to wait for Kim to come to the store as we'd used her staff discount card, then we had to pay a bit more for a different one anyway *sigh* long story short, we have a new TV now.
Been busy beavering away at my coursework, and have just made my revision checklist for the exams which are coming up *aargh* almost at the end of my second year. bloody hell, doesn't time fly. Kinda sad, but I won't go on about it.
I've kinda unfortunately decided that a 2:1 will be my grade at the end of all this, i was hoping for a first but it's just not happening, I keep working really hard and try my best but it doesn't always pan out. For instance my last bit of cw I did was a critical review - never done one before, so worked my butt off, ahd it checked by my tutor, made the necessary changes, and still only got a 62 (2:1, and a low one at that). It just sucks, pretty much lol.
My tattoo is kinda itchy still, but if you want more info go to my othersite (see top of page *doh* lol). Told my parenst the other week about it, I thought they would be mad but they were cool, which was brilliant - my relationship with them has improved like by 100 times since I came to uni. They're the best!
Its phil and mine's Second anniversary next week, which is weird as it feels like longer, and 2 years doesn't sound like a lot really, but considering 1.5 years of that has been a long distance reationship we have got so much going for us :) I love him more than skittles lol.
Anyway, my hair isn't going to straighten itself! Au revoir.

where is my housemate?...
Yep, hello once more! My easter shenanigans are over for another year (recap - I worked at my dads, sat around at phils sewing, went to the London Aquarium, saw the Ring Two (absolue donkey poo BTW)) and get back to the ranch in Pompey, but mysteriously one of my housemates rooms is empty, and she's taken the TV that was in the lounge, the shower tidy and shower curtain -all of which were hers, she didn't just take them for the fun of it lol.
She left a note on the pin-board saying she was leaving for good and that it was for "medical reasons", yeah, her 36 year old boyfriend needs her around constantly to change his colostomy bag... ouch, how bitchy of me, that was uncalled for. Sorry! :( Anyway, seriously, but since she's been with him she's just become really subdued and clingy - she's emotionally unstable and clinging to him is her 'thing'... it's positively unhealthy.
So now we have a room spare (luckily she still has to pay rent), and we were putting up with her all this time since last christmas, hoping she'd go back to how she was when we cam to uni - i.e. some fun! She's just turned into the opposite of eveything she was when she came... it's sad, as we really tried, but she was having none of it.
Oh well, good luck in all you do Kel.

in reply to the question 'guest' asked me on my last post ( What are 10 good and bad things about you?), because I am bored I shall answer them lol
Good things
- I do my work well, and to a scarily anal degree
- I'm kind to small fluffy things (i.e. cats and dogs)
- My hair colour is cool - natural highlights, YES!
- I'm slowly believing I have a nice figure...
- I can get along with new people - especially older ones, I can chat about nothing very well
- I can remember names incredibly well
- And song lyrics
- I'm quite generous, and always make thoughtful presents
- errr... although I don't speak a lot all the time, when I do people seem to think I'm funny
- I speak my mind
Bad things :(
- I bite my nails
- I procrastinate (e.g. I should be packing to go home now, but i'm doing this!!)
- I'm addicted to Neopets and collecting as many neopoints as posible
- I have little inclination to exercise
- My bedroom is a tip!!!
- I get really annoyed when people are late - even by little bits
- I get bored very easily when I have no company, therefore I harrass people
- I'm poo at keeping in touch with college friends :(
- I don't floss every day *bad gemma*
- My top half is disproprtionate to my lower half, therefore making finding nice tops/shirts very difficult :(
Right, I'm off home for easter - happy chocolate munching!!

yay! We have a house for next year!!!
Wow, like that should be a big issue lol. Would be very useful. It's got 6 bedrooms (5 have doubles), 2 bathrooms - one shower, one bath and shower, big old kitchen with pantry, 2 fridges, 2 freezers, leather sofas... he's gonna put laminate floor in over the summer, it's going to be so cool!!!
Got my consultation with the laser people tomorrow *eek* in a way I hope they can do the first treatment tomorrow but then again, I doubt it. Maybe, who knows. I'm hoping they'll charge me £55 a session, no £100- cos ten I may be able to pay for all of them out of the savings I have *yay* I got £400 put away, supposedly for living expenses. It's money that I save up over holidas when I work - so just cos I don't have a job right now, don't assume I don't work, got a few bits and pieces lined up over easter for some extra cash.
Ouch, have a headache right now though! It took THREE HOURS to complete our higher cognitive functions coursework. It was beyond the joke - and I forot my purse because I got distracted by someone texting me *grrr*. Oh well, i'm off down the chip shop for half my dinner :) vegatble grills, chips and sweetcorn - mmmmmm, beige ;)

Well hello there!
A little about me... my name's Gemma, I'm going to shortly enter my last year at Portsmouth University studying Psychology and Criminology, and I'm very happily attached. I love small dogs and now cats, Japanese logic puzzles, psychology and celery. I hate competative sports, feeling too hot, and people who "phaff".
Please enjoy my most random jacitations here in the blog =)
Have a read of this before you get a tattoo

*sigh* I liked my hair like that...
"Ain't there one damn song that can make me
break down and cry?"
"
Stained walks crutch in hobbled sway
Autodafe
A capulary hint of red
Only this manupod
Crescent in shape has escaped..."
"run, desire, run
a sexual being
run him like a blade
to and through the heart, no conscience
one motive: cater to the hollow"
"The chins they did wobble, the eyes did stare
There was a sense of threat in the air"
